My personality type

Recently, I was prompted to re-take the Myers-Briggs personality profile. You can take it at http://www.eggheadcafe.com/articles/mb/default.asp

My personality profile hasn't changed for 10 years! I am undoubtedly an INFP. Results here:

E=3 Extraversion
I=8 Introversion
S=1 Sensing
N=19 iNtuition
T= Thinking
F=19 Feeling
J=4 Judging
P=15 Perceiving
You are an INFP

You can read more about it in multiple places online, but this one is from the same site as the test. So, in case anyone else wants to know a little bit more about me, there you go. Post your type to this blog!

43 Things

So, a friend of mine turned me to this website recently as a way to motivate ourselves to do things we keep saying we're going to do, but somehow never do. Stuff like asking a certain girl out, getting to the gym to lose all that fat, take a vacation, etc. Interesting site. Called 43things.com

My link is here.

Aldi in ireland. Lovely stuff!

Aldi in ireland. Lovely stuff!

OK, so this post is a little delayed, but it was on my phone and I forgot about it. It was so strange to see a local, low cost grocery store in Ireland!

Ever wonder...

How is it that we as human beings can sometimes feel so distanced and isolated from a world that is full of people and stuff? Not saying I feel this way RIGHT NOW, but it's a common thread in life... people get busy with "life" (myself included), disappear and then sometimes reappear at a later point in the story. Human connection is a lot more difficult than I think it should be sometimes, even with the people with whom a natural connection should exist.

I'm back home...

Of sorts. After 7+ years of living somewhere that isn't my mom's house, I find myself back in the same bedroom I left back in my college days, albeit with more ... stuff. The feeling of being back here is a bit surreal, as I've always had an association of being in this house of being a child/teenager. I realize it's something I will need to work through and I'm obviously older now (even if I have the looks of a high school kid ^_^ j/k, kinda.) At least my monthly bills will be a bit cheaper and ideally I will be able to save money. Then there's Europe, which will eat all that up for an afternoon snack after it drinks some tea.

I bought music on cassette tape today

Against my own judgment, a friend of mine had me buy music on cassette tonight at a local Tower Records. Granted, 3 tapes for $10. Even so, I'm not sure.... hehe. This same friend is trading a good tape deck for speakers I don't need. Kind of nostalogic popping in a tape into my car and listening on the way home.

For those curious about what I bought:

"Only Dance: 1985 - 1989" - Various Artists
"Computer World" - Kraftwerk
"Superfly" - Curtis Mayfield

The one positive side is that I will convert these tapes to MD (minidisc for those not in the know) for digital quality copies. Long live cheap tapes!

The pantry of a single man.

The pantry of a single man.

First blog entry

While I doubt I'll use this often (I've never been into it before), I figure it's time to jump into the 21st century with everyone else on this.

I'm here. :)
