Against my own judgment, a friend of mine had me buy music on cassette tonight at a local Tower Records. Granted, 3 tapes for $10. Even so, I'm not sure.... hehe. This same friend is trading a good tape deck for speakers I don't need. Kind of nostalogic popping in a tape into my car and listening on the way home.
For those curious about what I bought:
"Only Dance: 1985 - 1989" - Various Artists
"Computer World" - Kraftwerk
"Superfly" - Curtis Mayfield
The one positive side is that I will convert these tapes to MD (minidisc for those not in the know) for digital quality copies. Long live cheap tapes!
